Q: I am looking for beading wire for my glass beads and swarovski beads, and I need a wire that is clear, so you can't see the beading wire through the beads, can you tell me what is the best wire for this? I have bought a few spools of beading wire that was recommended and stated it was clear, and when I received these spools they were silver not clear, like they stated.

A: All of the beading wire that we carry is going to have the cording ever so slightly visible through it as the "clear" designation is for the nylon coating that is applied over the top of it. While the clear nylon will still allow the wire to be visible through it, there are several kinds of beading wire that have different color nylon applied to it - perhaps a complimentary color or even a metallic effect (e.g. gold or silver) would complement your designs?

A: It might be a bit of a tight fit. I would probably go with the 19 strand .015"

Q: I need wire for Freshwater Rice Pearls White 2mm. Which one should I need to use ?

A: 2mm pearls will have really small holes. I think our item BW112 might work better for you.

Q: I am looking for the appropriate wire thickness to use with the bracelets I am making. Can you tell me if this wire will not be too thick for 3mm - 4mm round stone beads or for 1mm - 3mm sterling silver beads?

A: Most gemstone beads will have about a 1mm hole and the .018" beading wire will work fine with them. You may want to go with a .012" for the 1-2mm beads.
