Simply apply this product to the desired surface and buff it to an appealing luster. This product, made from imported carnauba waxes, shining metallic powders and selected pigments, can give your projects the shimmer you desire! What is the date stamped on the tube?

The date stamped on the Rub and Buff tube is the manufacturing date. There is no expiration, and there is no use by date. Rub and Buff is wax and solvent. If it separates in the tube over time you can knead the tub to mix it back up.

Easy to use and it works!

I cleaned some of my alleged silver jewelry in silver cleaner that removed the silver plate...a disaster. This product was amazing. Very easy to apply. I used Q-tips and buffed with a soft cloth. Not exactly restored to original finish, but a very pretty silver almost pewter color that looks great on my Native American type necklaces. Thank you so much for saving the day and some of my favorite jewelry. I highly recommend this product.

Like Magic

This stuff is awesome. I ordered a print online and the frame had a few scratches when it arrived. I pulled out the Rub 'N Buff, applied with my finger and no more scratches.

Q: Will this work to fill in scratches on a solid silver Flute? Will it rub off after it’s applied? Thanks!

A: It will work very well, but over time it will eventually rub off. Try using one of our BF260 Polishing Cloths for removing scratches. They work great! thanks

Q: Does the rub and buff come in other metalic finishes? Gold, bronze

A: Rub 'n' Buff comes in five different shades of gold (Antique Gold, Autumn Gold, European Gold, Gold Leaf, and Grecian Gold) and currently no bronze color (although if you're looking for patina, they make that as well). We carry the two most popular colors in gold - Antique Gold and Gold Leaf

Q: Can it be used on a sliver plated bathroom sink? We have hammered silver sinks that were not cared for properly and the silverplate is coming off leaving a goldish/brassy look.
