Inconsistent?

I have used thousands of yards of artistic wire just this year alone, and this was the first bad batch I've come across. I think the anti tarnish coating was bad; the wire was splotchy, scratchy, and inconsistently rough and smooth throughout- mostly rough. Very disappointed in the latest batch.

Q: is this flexible for a necklace?

A: This wire is meant more for doing wire wrapping and is not flexible like beading wire.
