Q: I would like to polish the tarnish off of my Dirilyte flatware. I have many pieces for my restaurant and I'm tired of buffing by hand. I was told to use rouge, so I watched a video on how to apply rouge to the buffing pad. Is this the type of buffer that would work this way? If so, would I apply a brown rouge to one buffing pad and a white polishing rouge to the other pad? I have never used an electric buffer, so I welcome any advise you have. Thank you, Myra

Yes, you can use this polisher for flatware.

Our red rouge would be best for this application. a stationary buffing machine also works best for polishing. If you are polishing by hand try our Red Rouge Buff, which has been very popular for over 100 years.

Q: What is the rpm low range ( low to 10,000)?

A: the lowest speed is 1800 rpm. The highest is 7500 rpm and the product info has been corrected to show this information.

Q: I would like to polish my polymer clay jewelry. Would this polisher work for this?

A: It will work for polishing polymer clay. You will want to get different polishing wheels for it though. The ones that come with it are abrasive.

A: Yes. You may want to get additional buffs that are not as abrasive though.

Q: I bought the TM-2 Benchtop Polisher and I would like to mount it on my garage wall. To make sure the spindles turn the right way for buffing, I have to mount the buffer upside down on the wall. This puts the anchoring screws at the bottom, which is not ideal anchoring. Is there a way to make the spindles turn the other way? Thank you Myra

A: Sorry, no, there is not a way to make the spindles turn the opposite direction.
