The best

My favorite soldering surface. Charcoal prevents firescale as well. My brick cracked after the first use and again after a dozen more.

Breaks easily

Since it is charcoal is does retain heat which is nice however it falls apart in your fingers. Very hard to handle since it's so fragile it just crumbles.
