Excellent jewelry cleaner

GemOro Ultrasonic cleaner with heat. The heater really makes a difference in how well it cleans my diamond ring. I returned another cleaner because it wasn't heated and I would have had to add all new cleaning solution each time I cleaned a piece of jewelry, or, I would need to remove the cleaning solution and microwave it or buy a coffee heater to drop in. None of those options were convenient. The GemOro has an on/off switch for the heat. It can be turned on independently of the ultrasonic heater in order to allow it to heat up before starting the ultrasonic part. The solution is hot in just a few minutes. Also, I like the basket that comes with it to hold the items to be cleaned. Very easy to remove. I'll use the same solution over and over until it becomes dirty. Cleaner doesn't take up a whole lot of room on my counter but it's large enough to hold quite a bit of jewelry, eye glasses,etc.

Great product

This unit does a great job of getting my jewelry sparkling clean. I looked at many models before picking this one.

So far So good

I finally decided to give it a try and I’m very pleased with the results. My jewelry hasn’t been cleaned in over a year, namely the chain and bracelet I wear almost every day. The instructions aren’t the greatest for a normal consumer as far as mixing the solution. It explains that 1 quart makes 40 and 1 gallon makes 20. I just took a guess and added 2 caps full to the water. No explanation of when it’s better or not using the heat or if the top should stay on. My only complaint is the lack of instruction included for someone who’s unfamiliar. However, the results were great after 30 minutes. I stopped it then because I had the top on and it suddenly began to boil so much it started coming out the machine. Again, end results were really good. I’ll be searching for proper instructions

Q: What can you clean in this machine?

A: Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaners use ultrasound and cleaning solutions to clean delicate articles of jewelry (as well as lenses and watches). These Ultrasonic Cleaners can clean many different types of jewelry, although softer stones such as pearls and opals cannot go into this style of cleaner.

A: I am not sure of the size of your utensils however, maybe just do a couple at a time and lay them on opposite sides of the basket?
