Our Surgical Stainless Steel Curb Chain is constructed with 4mm x 3mm oval links. The links are slightly twisted so that the chain lies flat when worn. The chain is made from solid, marine grade 316 stainless steel. It is ideal for all types of jewelry as it is impervious to corrosion, rust and tarnishing. Use this chain if you wear medical or religious symbols which you prefer not to remove from your body. It is used for necklaces, bracelets, anklets and also for earrings. The stainless steel silver color will complement any palette.

This Surgical Stainless Steel Chain features a Curb Link design. Surgical Stainless Steel is a hypo-allergenic metal which is perfect for anyone who suffers from allergies to nickel. Although all Surgical Stainless Steel contains nickel in trace amounts, the nickel is stabilized with the Stainless Steel and is considered to be safe for anyone who may have nickel allergies. Our products are made from high grade #316 or #430 Surgical Stainless Steel and meet the Mayo Clinic recommendations as well as the EU Nickel Directive. Surgical Stainless Steel is a great metal for jewelry making as it never tarnishes.

I have been looking online for this product for 2 years and was glad to find it at such a reasonable price. I previously dealt with Etsy companies, which was a qualified disaster, as they sent me the wrong size chain, twice, and because I did not understand their sizing, which you made very clear and understandable on your website, their mistakes actually caused me to not be clear about the size I needed, as I initially assumed that what they sent was the size I asked for, when it was not. I was able to easily find what I needed on your website, and order small amounts of various sizes until I found the correct one, and then order a sufficient amount for our needs for some time to come, all at a reasonable price compared with other outlets, who offered the same products for literally 20 times more, simply because they sell chains with the ends attached. Your service was also great, with your communications being timely and clear, and your delivery timely as well. I will look for any products that you can provide for us on your website in the future, and will recommend it to others as well.

This Surgical Stainless Steel chain was exactly what I was looking for and has made some very nice, sturdy products! My package arrived earlier than I expected and I was able to get right to work. I do wish Jewelry Supply carried a smaller sized chain of this type, but other than that, great experience! Thank you so much!

Nice chain, but can't use it for what I intended

Well made chain. Unfortunately, I purchased it to make my own necklace extenders but the spaces between links is too small to work in that capacity. It does work well in earrings and bracelets/anklets, so all is not lost. Wish they sold curb chain in bulk that could be used as extenders.

Beautiful chain

Cute

I was hoping to use this as a chain for my wallet, but it's a lot smaller that I expected. That's no fault of Jewelry Supply. It's still super cute and I plan on using it to make some anklets with sea shells.

Q: Can this chain be anodized? Also I am looking for surgical steel jump rings in 4m. Can surgical steel jump rings also be anodized?

A: Surgical stainless steel can be anodized but it is not recommended as it can cause corrosion. The smallest stainless steel jump ring we currently carry is a 6mm.
