Made of highly polished case hardened steel, the horn and surface areas are very smooth and great for wire wrapping and metal forming. One horn is flat, the other horn is round. Can be screw mounted to a bench or counter top for added stability.
Why should I use an Anvil when making jewelry?
When making wire earrings, pendants and necklaces, or when hammering silver, copper or other sheet metal into shape, this is a handy tool. Also, hammering wire or sheet against a smooth, solid, surface is necessary in order to "harden" the material so that it will retain its' finished shape. Use this item in conjunction with our HA223 Chasing Hammer, or HA210 Goldsmith Hammer.
