Includes 3 Diamond Pointed Reamers; Two 3mm tapered Tips which are 2" and 3" long, for enlarging holes in Beads, and one 4mm 45* Tip for smoothing edges. Featuring a variable Speed Control from 1,000 to 18,000 rpm, this quality made Reamer will make your Jewelry Projects even better. Includes AC Adapter.

Q: will this bead reamer drill thru stone? the pieces I have are thin, no more than 1/4" sandstone type.

A: Bead Reamers are not meant to drill holes, just smooth rough edges. The drill bits we carry are hand drill type and are not likely to be powerful enough to drill a hole through sandstone. You will want to use a power drill.

A: Yes, this reamer will accept a drill bit like DR202.

Q: Is this beam reamer small enough to only use for reaming out cultured pearls that have bead cord stuck or glued in? I use size 2 bead cord when re-stringing

A: Yes, it is small enough for getting glue or cord out of beads with a 2mm hole.

Q: Why is it so important to use a lubricant with diamond coated filing?

A: To improve cutting action and prevent heat build up, which can cause the bur or drill to wear out sooner. Also, use when sawing to insure cooler, cleaner cuts.

Q: I see your reamer for beads, I need something like that for polishing the inside of the hole, for rock art, Getting into tight spaces to polish after using the diamond burrs, or do you have diamond that will polish also?

A: For your application we recommend you contact a Lapidary supply company for stone polishing compound such as Diamond Brite.

Q: I have the polish, I need the smaller polishing heads,?

A: The diamond burs will leave a fairly smooth finish, but that would be all we have for polishing stones.
