Q: I'm wanting to make silver caps from scratch to fit top of bear claws for necklace. I have no experience. What supplies would I need? This should be a fairly simple project for me to learn I would think. Do you sell these ready made if I fail?

Q: I want flat wire to bend easily around a finger to make a ring. Is this wire appropriate for this purpose?

A: This wire does bend easily and is generally used for creating bezels so it might actually be too soft for that purpose.

Q: Using silver to make colloidal silver water. I need silver without any nickel coating. Flat pieces about 1/8 each wide. Do you have a product? It appears you do but wanted to verify No Nickle.

A: Our fine silver is 99% pure silver and does not contain any nickel.

Q: What tools would I need to make a bezel for a polymer clay pendant using this wire? Do I have to solder? Or can I cut and “tap” it with something? And how would I seal the ends to meet permanently?

A: You do need to solder it to seal the ends. The only other tool besides cutters that you will need is probably just a bezel roller like our item number BP161.

A: Fine silver can't be hardened. If you tried it would stay soft.
