This chain was a fooler - it has a serious weight, feels great in your hand, and lays around your neck with gentle quality. We bought it for curtain ties with magnetic catches made with small rare earth magnets superglued into cylindrical findings, no installation needed (they hang from the curtain itself), just move 'em where you want. The cats think the whole design was especially for them, so we find a present on the hall carpet once or twice a week. They've been unable to damage them; on a whim, my wife tried it on, and it's a surprisingly elegant 14" necklace, too. So of course, we're buying a bit more now...

I love how this chain both looks and feels. Been wearing it for a while, no tarnishing or discoloration.
