Made of highly polished, case hardened steel, and very smooth. One horn is round, the other horn is flat. Ideal for precision work such as wire wrapping and metal forming. Size: 4-1/4" W x 1-1/2" H x 1" D

Why do I need this item?

When making wire earrings, pendants and necklaces, or when hammering silver, copper or other sheet metal into shape, this is a handy tool. Also, hammering wire or sheet against a smooth, solid, surface is necessary in order to "harden" the material so that it will retain its' finished shape. Use this item in conjunction with our HA223 Chasing Hammer, or HA210 Goldsmith Hammer.

Very useful

The anvil size is relatively small, but that makes it useful for hammering as you can move the anvil to an optimal position.

Love it. Great product. Wish It was a tiny bit bigger but it gets the job done none the less
