Q: How would you describe the "hold" of the wire once bended as desired? I want to make single line wire portraits as earrings but don't want the wire to bend if caught in hair.

A: It is dead soft wire and it is possible that it could bend if caught.

A: "Dead-Soft" wire will bend if caught in something, unless you temper it. There are lots of YouTube jewelry-making videos showing people laying the wire flat, once formed, and gently hitting it with a flat-headed jewelry hammer. Or, to add texture, you can use a ball-pean hammer, but it takes some practice to get the results you want.
