Q: so these silicone silders have a HOLE in the bottom of them as well as the top? In other words does the earring post go all the way through and sticks out on the other side? I am looking for ones that don't let the post go all the way through. I hope I am being clear enough. Thanks.

A: The hole does go all the way through but it is long enough that you don't have to push it all the way through unless you have really thin earlobes.

Q: I ordered these to replace lost gold earring backs for standard gold earring posts. The post would not go into the back. The gold part is so tiny it just broke apart. Am I missing something?

A: They are meant for smaller earring posts. Post .65 mm (.10 tolerance +/-)
