Sterling Silver Smart Beads are perfect for any Stringing Project! Smart Beads have a soft Silicone center, so once you slide the Bead into position, it stays there! These clever Beads work great on Stringing Material, Wire, and even on Chain!

Smart Beads are intended to grip your cord, it can be a bit difficult to get the bead started. Try twisting the cord as you push the bead onto it. As soon as there is enough cord emerging from the bead to grasp, simply pull the cord through.

Neat Silver Bead

These beads are neat! They actually work as described, the silicon filling conforms to chain and they can act like stopper beads. So neat!

Nice stopper beads

I purchased these 4 mm stopper beads for the purpose of using them to keep my threader earrings from slipping and having one earring be longer (or shorter) than its mate. They seem to be working well for this purpose but perhaps with time and constant use the hole of the beads silicon core may enlarge causing the bead to slip. I do wish to stress that I chose the 4 mm beads specifically for the diameter of their hole size - a larger stopper bead might indeed slip off of threader earrings. I'm sure these lovely little sterling beads would be beautiful and perfect as stopper beads on illusion necklaces or on fine chain necklaces where they would stay in one position all the time.

Q: Can a nylon cord 1mm fit through here? It will be doubled up so really 2mm just want to make sure it will slide through
