Splash Earring Project

E1080

This project sponsored by:

1) Take a 5" length of Artistic Wire and make a "U" shape with it by bending the center of the wire around the thickest part of your round nose pliers' jaw. Use your fingers to press the wire halves together on the other side of the pliers jaw and then straighten the wire from there.

2) Thread a glass bead onto the wire, leaving about a 2-3mm gap from the base of the wire loop to the hole on the glass bead. Flay the wire halves as they exit the base of the glass bead. Take one wire half and thread on 10 Dark Turquoise seed beads, 9 Galvanized seed beads and 10 Turquoise AB seed beads. Use your fingers to press the beaded wire to the outside of the glass bead. Take the wire end and wrap it two times around the wire entering the glass bead. Cut off the excess wire after wrapping it with your side cutters.

3) Repeat step #2 for the other half of the wire coming out of the base of the glass bead. When wrapping the wire end, make sure to wrap above the other wrap that you completed in that same step.

4) Repeat all steps to create the other earring. Done!

A bit too heavy
This project worked well, and my result looks just like the picture. But I find them just a little too heavy to wear.
