3rd Hand

Use it daily helps hold that tricky piece while adding rings, magnification makes it easier to see and saves the eyes big time. A must have if you're doing jewellery.

It’s ok but I use it.

I do use this but not exactly as a third hand. The weight of the magnifying glass is a bit heavy for the base, so I use one of the “hands” to prop it up (if not both). But I do use it and am glad I bought it.

Great Third Hand

This third hand is super useful, I use it to hold small components still and the magnifying lens is really helpful. The base can be a bit small depending on what you are doing, but I am able to clamp it to my work desk easily to make it more stable.

Loved Magnifying Glass

For the price, this third hand worked out well for me. I clamped it onto my work table so that it wouldn't fall over. I got my projects done thanks to the magnifying glass and alligator clips. Occasionally, the connectors would get loose and I would have to retighten them.

Just what I was looking for

I needed a third and fourth hand, works great. I also use it to do my bracelets, I use the clips to hold my sting with beads and use the magnifier to see my knots.

Q: I make felted animals and paint the flat side of a clear cabochon. It is hard to hold and paint with detail and precision. Would this help my project be stable hen painting the flat surface?

A: The clamps are kind of small so it depends on the thickness of the item you want to clamp to it.
