Hole is very small.

A side view of this bail is not shown, but the hole is very small and I can't find a finished chain that will fit. I don't recommend unless you are using a leather cord or something similar.

Q: How heavy of an object work with these bails and what kind of glue is best to use?

A: This bail can hold a pretty large item. The best glue is for most applications is a cement glue such as the E6000.
